Christmas Stars

Tataa! Here it is, my first posting! I chose something that I had wanted to try for a long time. You may already know these stars, they have recently appeared on the internet before Christmas. Just glue paper bags together and the star is ready - that sounds very tempting. And it's really that easy!

What you need:

Butter bread bags (from a drugstore)

Scissors

Adhesive

Pen

Ruler

Biscuit cookie cutter

That’s how it’s done:

Step 1: Gluing

For every star you need 7 paper bags. The arrows show you where to apply the glue. (Do not draw!)

Continue with the remaining bags and let them dry briefly, so that they do not slip when being cut.

Then cut the glued bags to form a point. You can use the ruler for that.

Step 2: marking

Now you have to choose a pattern. There are many possibilities. You can cut out stars, semicircles, triangles. Your imagination knows no boundaries...

Step 3: Cutting

Cut out the marked shapes. When you're done, gently pull the star apart and glue the last two sides together. Finished!

Tip: To hang, you should tape the tip you pull the string through.
