A DIY project with my boys.
What you need:
Transparent glass Christmas baubles (I found mine at Søstrene Grene)
Oil chalks in all colors
Small grater
Glitter and stars
Hair dryer
Grate the coloured oil chalks. Be careful of your fingers!
The more colors, the better!
Take the aluminum cap off the baubles and you're ready to go. Add oil chalk crumbs, shake well.
You can also add glitter, asterisk, etc.
The oil chalk is melted with the hair dryer. An adult should definitely help with this step as the baubles can get very hot. A bit of patience is required - it takes a while for the chalk to melt properly. It also depends on what you like better: melted completely, the bauble looks marbled, while if it is melted less, the filling looks more like a mosaic.
